Create vectors, retouch photos, design graphics, paint, make pixel art, and animate from one workspace with PixiEditor. It serves as a general-purpose 2D editor for artists, designers, game developers, and anyone producing illustrations, sprites, animated drawings, or edited images.

Its Node Graph workflow lets you connect effects and custom shaders to build procedural, non-destructive graphics and animations. Raster tools cover selecting, deleting, clipping, resizing, sketching, and painting, while the node-based Brush Engine supports custom brushes, sampled layers, and shader-based effects. A dedicated pixel-art workspace includes pixel-perfect pen mode and advanced palette management for clean sprites, game animations, and deliberately retro artwork.

Vector tools provide curve drawing, vector shapes, and snapping for logos, icons, and illustrations that remain sharp at different sizes, and these elements can be combined with raster imagery. Frame-by-frame animation tools let users turn drawings into moving sequences, making the program useful for both still artwork and short animated projects.
