About
Run plexmediaserver on Linux to make your media available across the devices you use. It lets you reach that media in settings ranging from a living room to a car or even a boat, instead of limiting access to the computer where the files are stored. Plex, Inc. publishes it as a commercial multimedia server for managing media in one place and accessing it from different locations.
The Linux release supports amd64, arm64, armhf, and i386 systems, covering desktop, server, and several compact-device architectures. It requires Linux with snapd, and the publisher presents it for Linux distributions including Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
plexmediaserver is also available as an Ubuntu Appliance, providing a ready-made image for use on a Raspberry Pi, an Intel NUC, or inside a virtual machine. Those deployment choices suit home media libraries, dedicated small servers, and virtualized environments. The current version is 1.43.5.11079-b3b13e506, published by Plex, Inc.
Requires Linux + snapd · Architecture: amd64, arm64, armhf, i386
