Podcini.X lets listeners discover, organize, download, stream, and play podcasts from one Android application. Shows can be found with keyword searches, added through RSS URLs, or imported from OPML subscription files, making it useful for building a library from many sources.

Episodes may be downloaded, streamed, or added to a queue, with adjustable playback speeds for different listening habits. Automatic downloading and queueing reduce repeated manual work while helping limit battery and mobile-data use. When a feed provides text without media, a text-to-speech engine can read its contents aloud.

Listening progress can synchronize through a NextCloud server or directly between devices on the same Wi-Fi network without a server. Users can also create synthetic podcasts that collect selected episodes from different sources around a shared interest. Filtering and sorting episode lists turns them into practical playlists, while multiple queues can be linked to podcasts for grouping related listening.

Five-level ratings, twelve play states, personal notes, and additional sorting and filtering support detailed organization. Podcini.X does not access YouTube, is free to use without advertising, and is released as open-source software; it runs on Android 8.0 or later on arm64-v8a devices. Version 11.2.2.8-1 fixes a problem that prevented local media from playing.
