pretixPRINT2.24.0-foss

pretixPRINT sends print jobs to printers on behalf of other pretix applications running on Android. It contains the printing logic those applications rely on, handling the printer-facing part of the workflow rather than the wider functions of the calling app. Application logic remains with the pretix software that requests the print operation.

A pretix application communicates with pretixPRINT through Android system broadcasts. The print service receives those broadcasts and carries out the requested printer action without serving as a standalone ticketing or event-management application. This makes it a companion component for pretix-based setups that need printed output.

It is intended for developers and operators deploying pretix applications alongside compatible printers in environments where automated or app-triggered printing is required. The software is open-source and runs on Android, with its usefulness tied to another pretix application that invokes it. Users should also know that Sentry collects tracking data from the app, and this tracking cannot be disabled through the user interface.
