Qtube-Dl - Youtube player & downloader0.0.5

Play YouTube videos or save them for later from a single desktop interface, with choices for available audio, video, format, and resolution combinations. It suits 4K and HD video saving as well as YouTube-to-audio use cases where those options are supported. The built-in player handles playback without Flash, making it possible to watch selected quality and format variants directly.

The player is powered by MPV and supports hardware acceleration for compatible systems. Audio and video can be saved separately, with different formats and quality settings available for each. Multiple items can be processed at once, while simultaneous multi-thread transfers and resume support help manage longer tasks.

Qtube-Dl searches across YouTube without tracking the user, provides search suggestions, and shows trending videos based on the preferred region. Video and audio files can be assigned separate save locations, keeping the two media types organized. An Orion dark theme, ad-free interface, and lightweight native design round out the desktop experience.
