Recording WebCam1.0

Capture still images and record video using a camera already available on an Android device, then send the resulting files to a server address. Recording WebCam is designed for Android phones and Android TV devices, giving users a camera interface that works across both handheld and television-based setups. It uses the existing camera instead of requiring a separate capture device, which suits basic recording and photo tasks.

For still photography, you can choose among the cameras available on the device, switch the flash on or off, and adjust photo quality before capturing an image. Video mode offers the same camera selection and flash controls while also providing a setting for recorded-video quality. Photos and videos can be uploaded to a specified server by entering its URL, making the app useful for sending captures from a phone or TV-connected camera to a remote service.

The app is intended for people who need straightforward camera capture on Android phones or Android TV, including TV-based recording setups and simple remote-upload workflows. Version 1.0 runs on Android 5.0 or later and provides builds for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, and x86_64 devices. It is open-source and was developed with Flutter during a technical internship at VNPT Technology by Nguyen Thanh Chung, a student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology’s School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
