Install applications assembled from multiple APK files with SAI, which uses supported Android installation methods for split APK packages. It addresses the situation where an application’s components are distributed across separate APK files instead of one standalone file. SAI can invoke Android’s standard installation API to install these split applications. When root access is available on the device, it can use a root-based installation method as an alternative.

Shizuku supplies another supported installation route, letting the process use the access method available in the user’s Android setup. SAI also exports split APK applications as package files for retention and later handling. This is useful when users need to preserve an application whose components are stored in several separate APKs. The combination of multiple installation paths and package export covers both installing split applications and keeping their component packages.

SAI suits Android users who regularly work with applications distributed in split form, including situations where those packages must be installed or retained for later use. It runs on Android 5.0 and newer devices and uses Universal architecture. Version 4.5 is distributed as open-source software in the Developer Tools category.
