Satrify blurs faces and other selected image areas in video, helping protect people and sensitive visual details before footage is shared or published. Developed by Mohammad Hamed, it gives editors a focused way to handle privacy-sensitive video while retaining the footage’s original audio.

Automatic mode uses AI models to identify faces and apply blur without requiring each face to be marked manually. For a license plate, screen, person, or another moving subject, manual tracking lets the user draw a box and follow it with the CSRT tracker. Hybrid mode combines automatic face detection with manually tracked regions when both approaches are useful.

Users can set the blur strength and add coverage padding around the selected area, then choose either circular or square blur shapes. A split-screen preview shows the edited result beside the original, making it easier to inspect coverage while working. Satrify processes the video and exports a finished file with its original audio track intact.

The application is designed for Linux users preparing personal, documentary, workplace, or public footage that contains identifiable faces or sensitive objects.
