Show the current Spotify album artwork, song, and artist in a fullscreen browser display, with playback progress visible at a glance. The interface also identifies the active Spotify device and provides elapsed and total track time. Touch-friendly controls support play/pause, previous and next track, shuffle, like or unlike, and fullscreen mode on small displays, tablets, kiosks, and desktop screens.

Four appearance themes cover macOS-style light and dark modes plus classic light and dark modes, with automatic day/night switching based on configurable hours and timezone. A matching clock appears on idle startup and after three consecutive paused or stopped playback checks, while the trigger can be configured; the Night shortcut opens a dark clock preset without changing the hardware backlight. Overview, Music, Markets, and Clock shortcuts switch between views, with optional stock or Treasury pages and page rotation filling the market tiles; the selected view is remembered in the browser, while new browsers open Music.

Built with Python, Flask, and Spotipy, the program runs locally as a Python application or Linux snap, reads playback state through Spotify’s Web API, and sends commands to an existing Spotify device rather than streaming audio or producing audio-reactive effects. Use requires a Spotify developer app and Spotify Premium account, and the project is independent of Spotify.

Version 1.0.7 runs on Linux x86_64 (amd64) with snapd and is open-source. It suits Raspberry Pi touchscreens, tablet browsers, Linux desktops, and dedicated hi-fi dashboards, with a snap background service and desktop browser launcher that includes a Raspberry Pi OS Trixie/Wayland launch path.
