Load an M3U file, Xtream credentials, or a portal URL into Tuneline and play the resulting media playlist through a clean interface. It accepts M3U, Xtream Codes, and Stalker-format sources, letting streaming enthusiasts bring their own library instead of receiving or hosting content. Hardware-accelerated playback is handled through libmpv for supported video streams.

The built-in XMLTV electronic program guide shows current and upcoming programs in schedule views, with timeshifting for supported content. Favorites and watch history preserve regular viewing choices, while series navigation organizes on-demand shows by season and episode. Search covers playlists, films, and series in one place, and keyboard number shortcuts, directional navigation, and instant stream switching make it practical for remote-controlled viewing.

A dark, big-screen interface includes a collapsible sidebar, poster grids, and animated browsing, while Google Calendar integration can create reminders for upcoming programs. A centralized web dashboard manages playlists, sources, and settings, with changes synchronized to connected devices. Tuneline is suited to home-theater viewers, IPTV users, and anyone maintaining several personal streaming sources.

The Linux release is 1.0.108, and native versions are also available for macOS, Windows, Android, Google TV, and iOS. Tuneline is freeware; no account is required to add a playlist and begin watching, and no subscription applies. Its service supports one-device access with cloud synchronization for playlists, favorites, and settings across up to five devices.
