twister-spinner1.0

twister-spinner places a virtual spinner on a Linux computer, allowing players to determine the next Twister move without reaching for a physical spinner. It simulates the spinner used in the Twister game, giving two people a way to play together with software rather than the standalone game accessory. The program has one focused job: it reproduces the spinner action instead of acting as a general media player. It does not provide broader video playback functions.

Users can turn to it for two-person Twister sessions, especially when a software-based spinner is preferable to a physical device. Its narrowly scoped design suits Linux players seeking only the game’s spinner simulation. Craig William Warner is the developer and publisher behind twister-spinner.

Current version 1.0 is open-source and targets Linux. It requires Linux with snapd and is built for x86_64 (amd64) systems. The latest/edge build is dated 21 September 2023 and has not been updated in some time, so it may be unmaintained and could present stability or security issues.
