About

Voyager lets you browse posts, comments, and communities across Lemmy and PieFed instances from one interface, bringing links, memes, and discussions into a single place. It is designed for joining online communities as well as reading them, so you can follow conversations and participate in threads without switching between instance interfaces. The application runs on Linux and is released under an open-source license.

On any Lemmy or PieFed instance, you can upvote or downvote posts, reply to threads, and respond directly to individual comments. Multi-account support keeps several accounts available within the same application, while the two-column layout shows content and discussion side by side. Themes, gesture controls, and compact or large post displays let users adjust the reading and navigation experience to their preferences.

Voyager is suited to people who browse federated communities, catch up on shared links and memes, or contribute to ongoing discussions. Its ad-free, non-tracking design keeps attention on posts, replies, and community activity. In version 2.49.1, searches preserve special characters, so those characters remain intact when looking up content.
