Woxel

Build and edit three-dimensional voxel scenes by placing, deleting, recoloring, mirroring, and texturing individual blocks in Woxel. Its block-building controls are approachable to players familiar with voxel games, while the workspace is aimed at creating 3D assets for use in games.

Move relative to the X and Y orientation with W, A, S, and D, use Space plus Left Shift for vertical Z movement, press F to toggle fast movement, keys 1–7 to select its speed, and P to lock the camera pitch. Left Click or Right Shift places a node, while Right Click or Right Control removes one; Q, Z, Middle Click, or Mouse4 samples a node’s color, and E or Mouse5 replaces it. R enables the mirror brush, V places a voxel at the current position, and X plus C or Slash plus Quote changes the pointed node’s texture.

F1 restores the environment, F2 hides or shows the HUD, F3 saves, and F8 loads while discarding edits made since the last save. Woxel also saves automatically on exit and after more than three minutes of idling. Console arguments can export projects, create projects, load project files, adjust mouse sensitivity, and apply custom color palettes.

Woxel 1.5 is open-source software in the Photo & Graphics category from James William Fletcher for Linux on x86_64 (amd64), and it requires snapd. Clicking its window captures the mouse; Escape or Tab releases it, and a browser-based version is available for users who do not use Linux.
