About
Zen lets you browse the web while keeping work organized and distractions contained. Its privacy-focused design prioritizes your browsing experience rather than treating your data as the product. The layout is intended for people who want a calmer way to research, manage projects, and move between online tasks.
Workspaces keep tabs for different projects separate, so you can switch contexts without mixing them together. Tab groups provide another way to arrange related pages, while vertical tabs make larger tab collections easier to navigate. Split View places two tabs side by side for comparing pages or working across them at once. Glance provides quick access to frequently used tabs without making you search through browsing history. Compact Mode hides the tab bar when you need more screen space and brings it back when required, and a web sidebar adds convenient access to browser tools or content. The interface can be customized to match different working preferences.
Zen is aimed at focused browsing in situations such as research, project work, and side-by-side comparison. It runs on Linux and is open-source, with current version 1.24b. Its Internet and Browsers feature set combines workspace organization, flexible tab handling, and attention-conscious screen layout in one browser.
Requires Linux + Flatpak · Architecture: x86_64, aarch64
