About
Manage credentials stored in a Nextcloud Passman account from an Android device, including vaults, passwords, files, and one-time codes. Passman connects to a self-hosted Nextcloud or ownCloud instance, using entered server settings or SSO during setup. This Android client is compatible with the Nextcloud Passman app and Passman 2.x or later.
You can view, add, rename, and delete vaults, then browse their credential lists and create, edit, or remove individual entries. The app handles adding, downloading, and deleting files attached to vault data, while its password generator helps create new credentials. OTP generation and basic Android autofill support make saved accounts usable during sign-in.
An optional app-start password can rely on Android user authentication, and encrypted offline caching keeps vault data available away from the server. Vault contents and cloud-connection passwords are encrypted in storage, with AES-256 encryption applied on both the client and server sides. Passman is open-source and suits people who manage their own password service and want access to it while traveling.
Using it requires Nextcloud together with the Nextcloud Passman app; the app runs on Android 5.0 or later and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 devices. Version 1.7.0 adds app and vault security features, password-digit highlighting with a settings toggle, improved credential sorting, and a fix for autofill fragment alignment. The Passman web extension can also integrate browser-based access with Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.
Requires Android 6.0+ · Architecture: arm64-v8a
