Tokn - MFA / 2FA authenticator

Tokn - MFA / 2FA authenticator is an open-source Android application in the Security & Privacy category. It generates one-time verification codes locally for services that use standard TOTP or HOTP two-factor authentication. Tokn works without an account, cloud synchronization, analytics, or advertising, and it can operate fully offline. Accounts can be added by scanning a QR code, selecting a QR image from the device gallery, or entering the information manually. The app can import backups from Aegis, 2FAS, Google Authenticator, and standard otpauth:// URIs.

The authenticator supports TOTP and HOTP, along with SHA-1, SHA-256, and SHA-512. It provides encrypted backup and restore, device-to-device transfer over local Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, or an animated QR code, and end-to-end encryption for the transfer handshake. Users can organize accounts into custom groups, use a configurable Recycle Bin, review an Audit Log, and add custom icons or Aegis-compatible icon packs. Material 3 styling includes light, dark, and system themes, optional Material You colors, and screenshot protection for code displays.

Tokn is released under the GNU General Public License version 3.0 or later, with its source available for review and modification. MirrorNest mirrors the official Android build directly on its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing it.
