Tokn - MFA / 2FA authenticator1.8.2

Tokn generates one-time verification codes locally for online services that use standard TOTP or HOTP, keeping second-factor access on the user’s device. Its encrypted vault is stored in an SQLCipher database and can be unlocked with a password or biometric authentication, including fingerprint or face recognition. It operates fully offline without an account, cloud synchronization, analytics, or advertising. This suits people who want to retain their authentication codes locally while signing in to services protected by two-factor authentication.

Accounts can be added by scanning a QR code, selecting a QR image from the device gallery, or entering details manually. Existing authenticator data can be imported from Aegis, 2FAS, Google Authenticator, and standard otpauth:// URIs. In addition to TOTP and HOTP, Tokn supports SHA-1, SHA-256, and SHA-512, with encrypted backup and restore.

Device-to-device transfers can use local Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, or an animated QR code, while the transfer handshake is protected with end-to-end encryption. Users can arrange accounts in custom groups, manage a configurable Recycle Bin, inspect an Audit Log, and add custom icons or Aegis-compatible icon packs. Its Material 3 interface offers light, dark, and system themes, optional Material You colors, and screenshot protection for displayed codes.

Version 1.8.2 adds colored groups, custom ordering, and a bulk action for adding multiple accounts through Settings > Groups; groups now appear in backups and sync, and the home screen follows the chosen order, while onboarding and login no longer overlap system bars. The Android 8.0+ release supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures. Tokn is open-source Security & Privacy software released under the GNU General Public License version 3.0 or later, with source available for review and modification.
